MAN UTD CONFIDENT OF OZIL DEAL
Manchester United will attempt to sign Mesut Ozil on a free transfer next summer, with Jose Mourinho confident of securing his signature, according to The Independent.
Mourinho worked with Ozil when he was Real Madrid manager and now wants to sign him for United, with Ozil free to talk to other clubs in January.
His current contract expires in 2018, and he has so far shown little desire to stay at the Emirates Stadium.

EVERTON WON'T BID FOR GIROUD
Everton have shelved plans to make a renewed bid to sign Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud in the January transfer window, claims the Daily Star .
Giroud was a target for Everton in the summer when Ronald Koeman was looking to bring in a replacement for the departed Romelu Lukaku.
However, Giroud decided to stay and fight for his place at Arsenal, and Everton have opted against making another approach for the France international.

Antonio Conte is leaning towards leaving Chelsea at the end of the season because of a lack of support from the club, The Times reports.
The former Juventus boss said this week that he wants to return to Italy at some point after reportedly coming close to departing before the start of this season.
