Everton captain Phil Jagielka has signed another one-year contract to expand his stay at Goodison Park until 2019, the Premier League club said on Wednesday.
The 34-year-old England universal joined Everton from Sheffield United in 2007 and has played more than 340 matches for the Merseyside club. He has been Everton captain since 2013 and drove them to a seventh-set alliance complete last season.
"It is constantly decent to have the capability of an additional year with the club – and it didn't take too ache for me to choose to sign," Jagielka told the club's site.
"I was enchanted to do as such and I am anticipating the voyage throughout the following two years."
