Manchester City have finished the marking of Brazilian ideal back Danilo from Real Madrid for a detailed charge of £26.5million.
The 26-year-old has marked a five-year contract at the Etihad Stadium.
Danilo's entry takes City's spending on full-backs past the £70m check this nearby season after they paid an underlying £45m for Tottenham's Kyle Walker – an arrangement that could ascend to a possible £50m.
City have seen various defenders withdraw the club since the finish of last season. Aleksandar Kolarov was sold to Roma on Saturday, following Pablo Zabaleta, Gael Clichy and Bacary Sagna in clearing out.
The Portuguese defender was in and out of the Madrid squad since signing for the la-liga giant
