Morata happy with Chelsea link

Spain forward Alvaro Morata said he was "exceptionally cheerful" after Real Madrid consented to pitch him to Premier League champions Chelsea.

The 24-year-old has been vigorously connected with a move in the off-season and is set to touch base at Stamford Bridge for a charge answered to be in the area of £70 million.

Morata, who should at present consent to individual terms and finish a medicinal, was charmed to be allowed to join Antonio Conte's side.
